During the discussion of the issues of socio-economic development of single-industry towns and small towns, at an extended meeting of the Council for Interaction with Local Representative Bodies (Maslikhats), held in Astana, the Chairperson of the Maslikhat of the Altai District Grechushnikova L.A. addressed the Vice Minister of National Economy Omarbekov B.B. on the issue of supporting specialists coming to single-industry towns. This measure, provided that it is effectively implemented, can have a significant impact on the situation with the personnel shortage, ensuring the influx of qualified specialists necessary for the sustainable development of the cities of Altai and Serebryansk. The issue requires detailed study and inclusion in state programs for supporting single-industry towns.
