On April 4, 2025, Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Zhanibek Abdrashov received Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Kazakhstan Nico Schermers and Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Kazakhstan Chingiz Kanapyanov. During the conversation, the current state and prospects for the development of Kazakh-Dutch cooperation in investment and trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed. Special attention was paid to cooperation in the field of agriculture and water resources management. Zh. Abdrashov noted the interest of the Kazakh side in the implementation of joint projects aimed at the exchange of experience and the introduction of advanced technologies. At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to intensify further cooperation to strengthen the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands.
