"How to get a license to sell alcoholic beverages"

A license for the storage and retail sale of alcoholic beverages is issued by the State Revenue Department.

The amount of the fee is calculated at the established rates and is paid to KBK 105402 "License Fee" at the location of the fee payer before submitting the relevant documents to the authorized state body before obtaining a license.

In accordance with Article 554 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan   "On taxes and other mandatory payments to the budget" when obtaining a license for the storage and sale of alcoholic beverages, a license fee is paid for KBK 105402 at the established rates for the retail sale of alcoholic beverages - in the capital, cities of republican significance and regional centers – 100 MCI, in other cities and towns – 70 MCI, in rural settlements - 30 MCI.

According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 202-V dated 05/16/2014 "On Permits and Notifications", the list of documents required to obtain a license for the storage and retail sale of alcoholic beverages (all documents are provided electronically):

✅statement;

a copy of the document confirming the payment of the license fee to the budget;

a copy of the lease or gratuitous use agreement for stationary premises used for purposes other than permanent residence, located outside the buildings and territories of healthcare, education, physical education, sports and technical facilities, gas stations, shopping markets, cultural and leisure organizations on the right of ownership or on the right of temporary possession (use), gratuitous use – in case of conclusion of these agreements for a period of less than one year;

The form of information on the qualification requirements for the storage and retail sale of alcoholic beverages, in the form of an electronic document.
