190 projects worth 1.5 trillion tenge will be implemented in 2025

Today, the Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yersayin Nagaspayev, made a report at the Government session on the topic "On financing the real sector of the economy."
"The Head of State instructed the expanded Government session to "confirm" the growth trend of the manufacturing industry. This year, 190 projects worth 1.5 trillion tenge will be implemented to develop this sector," the Minister noted.
In addition, work has begun on 417 projects worth a total of 15.3 trillion tenge. Financing of the projects is provided at the expense of private investments, second-tier banks and development institutions.
Yersayin Nagaspayev is considering manufacturing industry projects worth more than 1.1 trillion tenge. In particular, 183 billion tenge is needed for the implementation of large projects through the Development Bank of Kazakhstan. 800 billion tenge is being considered for medium and small projects through the "Industrial Development Fund". Including, this year, about 100 billion tenge is needed to finance small industrial zones, which are in particular demand from small businesses.
These measures will allow for the growth of industry, the creation of new jobs, and the development of sectors of the economy.
In addition, about 109 billion tenge is needed for leasing to modernize public transport and special equipment through the "Industrial Development Fund". As a result, about 900 new buses, as well as more than 800 special equipment for emergency and municipal services, will be delivered in the next two years.
"This year, the issue of allocating additional funds of 500 billion tenge through "Baiterek" to put 19 million sq. m. of housing into operation is being worked out," the Minister concluded.
300 billion tenge will be allocated for the purchase of 21 thousand rental apartments, 120.6 billion tenge for the installation of engineering and communication infrastructure, and 80 billion tenge for financing the "2-10-20" and "5-10-20" mortgage programs of "Otbasy Bank".
