An exhibition dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Oral Tansykbayev opened at the State Museum of Arts named after Abilkhan Kasteyev
10.04.2025 16:49:05 363A solemn opening of the exhibition dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the outstanding representative of fine arts, Oral Tansykbayev, took place today at the Abilkhan Kasteyev State Museum of Arts.
The exhibition was organized by the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Arts of the Republic of Uzbekistan and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The exhibition presented 74 works that demonstrate the artist's unique style, creative heritage and contribution to the development of national painting.
The opening ceremony of the event was attended by the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva, Mayor of Almaty Yerbolat Dossayev, as well as writers, cultural and artistic figures of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
In her speech, Aida Balayeva noted that the art of Oral Tansykbayev brought the people of the two countries closer together, strengthening centuries-old friendship and mutual noted that he contributed to strengthening understanding.
"He portrayed the beautiful nature and mountains of his native Uzbekistan with realism and great skill, and was highly appreciated by art lovers. It is worth noting that Ural Tansykbayev was born in the same year as Abilkhan Kasteev. Both citizens contributed to the formation of a national art school in their countries and influenced the next wave of young people. Their creativity is a reflection of true love for their native land, people, and nature," said Aida Balayeva.
The minister also noted the active cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in the cultural sphere. In recent years, cultural days, film days, theater tours and art exhibitions have been successfully organized.
Saida Mirziyoyev, in turn, expressed gratitude for the organization of the exhibition and noted the importance of cultural dialogue and cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The exhibition dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Ural Tansykbayev will continue until June of this year.
It should be noted that the tour of the National Ballet of Uzbekistan and the Ural Tansykbayev exhibition will also be held in Astana.
