Akimat of Pavlodar region and Roads Committee of the Ministry for Investments and Development signed a memorandum of the transfer of the roads. The document was signed by the first deputy akim of the region Ulan Zhazylbek and chairman of the Roads Committee Mereke Pshembayev. The document says that the road from Leninsky village to Russian glade (length 272 km) was transferred from communal to the republican property.

“The road is located between two countries, there is the checkpoint “Amangeldy”. Its transfer to the republican property will allow developing the road industry of the region and making the road carpet in accordance with the international standards. As for the road “Kachiry – Mikhailovka – Border of the Russian Federation”, it was transferred from the republican communal property to the regional one. It will allow continuing further development of the regional road network”, the head of the region Bulat Bakauov said after the signing the memorandum.

“The first road, which we took from the regional property to the republican one in the last 10 years, was the road “Leninsky-Bolshoi Akzhar-Kurchatov”. Being in the regional communal property, it was in a sorry state. It had been repaired for 7 years. Every year about KZ 2-3 bln are allocated for its improvement”, the head of the Roads Committee of the Ministry for Investments and Development Mereke Pshembayev noted.
