From September 24 to October 2, 2018 in the city of Geneva (Swiss Confederation) was held The 58th Session of the Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization Member States (WIPO), which summarizes the work done and plans for the coming year.

A delegation of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan headed by Vice Minister of Justice Pan N.V took part in the work of this event.

During the 58th session of the WIPO Assembly meetings, reports of the standing copyright committees were heard. and related rights, patent law, trademark law,industrial designs and geographical indications, on development and intellectual property, etc.

In addition, within the framework of the session, from September 24 to 25, meetings of the Kazakh delegation with WIPO Director is General F. Harry, Deputy Director General of WIPO is S. Forbin,President of the Eurasian Patent Office of the Eurasian Patent Organization Tlevlesova S.Ya. and Head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) is G.P Ivliev

During these meetings, the achievements of Kazakhstan in the field of intellectual property were presented, and also discussed and reached agreements on further interaction  and  cooperation with these organizations.
