Akim of Pavlodar region visited the design office “Рухани жаңғыру”. Bulat Bakauov appreciated the work of design managers within the program and offered to build a new museum in Pavlodar.

The design office, having 44 projects, has been operating in Pavlodar for the second month. Some of them were presented to the head of the region. Within the project “Мектебіме тағзым” former school-leavers provided support to the schools. For some months 500 sponsors provided assistance to the sum of KZ 93 mln. Akim emphasized the importance of the project and offered to organize it during the school year.

“It is all right when the school asks former school-leavers to help it. This project can be implemented during the school year and, for example, summed up the results every quarter. This is how we are going to put an extension to the school № 1 in Terenkol village”, Bulat Bakauov said.

Also, the head of the region suggested considering the necessity and possibility of building a new museum in Pavlodar.

“We should to see if the regional center needs one more museum, except the Local History Museum of Potanin. It is possible to build it in the old part of Pavlodar, where our historical buildings are”, he said.

The well-known museum worker Roza Igibayeva supported the idea and said that Pavlodar was really in need of a new museum.

“It should be a modern building. There will be concert, computer, lecture halls and a room for organization of interactive installations”, she added.
