"Cold water is already fed through new pipeline networks, which have branches for supplying water to each house-building. In order to use the centralized water supply to the owners of houses, it is only necessary to connect to the drainage system, and also to conclude an appropriate agreement with the SC "Almaty Su" on water supply services," the Almaty Energy and Municipal Economy Administration reported.

Until now, residents of these microdistricts have been using water from private water wells or from self-constructed networks built without observing technical requirements that were not properly serviced.

This often led to accidents at the water conduits, and in the summer - to reduce the pressure of water due to increased water consumption.

In order to avoid extraordinary situations and ensure a stable supply of cold water, the power of pumping stations has also been increased for consumers on new networks.

Connection began in the neighborhood "Kalkaman-3", where to date, 560 private houses have already been connected to new networks. On the turn of housing construction microdistricts "Alty Alash" and "Kalkaman-2."

In the SC "Almaty Su" it was noted that about 4 thousand homeowners submitted documents for the services of centralized provision with cold water.

Complete the process of connecting and registering contracts with all consumers of this urban sector is planned for a month.

209 km of new water supply and sewerage networks were built at the expense of the state budget for the development of centralized water supply and sanitation systems in these residential areas.
