The Ministry of labor and social protection of population of the RK (hereinafter – the MLSP RK) announced the contest of election of members of the Public Council on labor and social protection of the population.

Public Council formed a working group from among representatives of state bodies and non-profit organizations, and citizens. Members of the Public Council can be proposed by organizations and by self-nomination.

Member of the Public Council of the MLSP RK can become a citizen of Kazakhstan not younger than 18 years. A candidate must not: have a criminal record; be in accordance with the law the court recognized as guilty of committing corruption crimes and (or) corruption offences; to be registered at healthcare organizations about mental illness, alcoholism, drug addiction or substance abuse.

 Proposals from non-profit organizations and (or) statements of citizens on nomination of candidates to the Public Council should be directed in writing indicating name of candidate and application information about his professional and (or) social activities, autobiographies and documents confirming its compliance with the above requirements. Every non-profit organization and everyone who sent their suggestions, I can offer no more than one candidate.

Recall that in November 2015 the Law "On Public Council", whose purpose is the expression of the views of civil society on socially significant issues, accountability of state bodies to the population, ensure the publicity of the speeches of the heads of government agencies.
