10.04.2025 16:54:45 231This year there has been gathered more than 200 participants who discussed the questions of the city’s stable development. The chairman of ‘’Forum amateurs’’ Blaz Golob congratulated the citizens on the achievement and wished them to realize the project successfully.
“We are pleased to see the representatives of the wonderful city Almaty among the participants of the forum. I sincerely congratulate the command of Almaty. Each year the prize is given to the more foremost project in the sphere of «Smart City». We gladly declare that Almaty has been in the list of finalists and by the jury’s decision the project «Smart Almaty» has been nominated for the second place. The best one has been Mariborian ( Slovenia) project «wCycle», and the third place has been on the project from Zagreba(Croatia),’’ mentioned Blaz Glob.
The development of the city of Almaty in the direction of "Smart City" is held in accordance with the draft state program "Digital Kazakhstan" and the Almaty city development program. The project implies the introduction of modern technologies in each of the spheres of life of the megalopolis, which will improve the standard of living of citizens, introduce new services and cut costs for the loss of resources in the infrastructure of the housing and utilities sector.
Let's remind that the first system project "Open Almaty" has already started in Almaty. Access to the data necessary for business is opened. The portal of Almaty GenPlan published diagrams of red lines and capacity of engineering networks. The plans of the executive committee on repair of roads, heating networks, yard areas, public spaces are published. The business no longer needs to go to the executive committee to study projects. On the principle of a single window in a comfortable business center in Almaty Towers you can get an advice on the spot or submit an appeal on the site and by phone.
