On March 6, 2018, the Research and analytical center on religious issues of the СRA MRACS of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a round table on The topic «Presidential initiatives - a guide to new heights»

This event was organized in order to analyze and explain the essence and importance of the report made by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on March 5 this year at a joint session of the houses of Parliament.

The round table was moderated by the Director Of the research and analytical center on religion, Ph. D. Aynur Abdirasilkyzy. A. Abdirasilkyzy drew attention to the relevance of social problems in modern society, which were indicated in the initiatives of the Head of state, and also stressed that this is a timely step.

«The state of the religious situation is directly related to the social situation, since the religious situation is a social phenomenon. Many problems in the field of religion arise from unresolved social problems. According to research results, 52% of participants in terrorist attacks in Kazakhstan are socially vulnerable, who do not have their own housing and work. At the same time, 84% of them had no special religious education. That is, consistent implementation of initiatives related to the social sphere and education, based on the proposals of the head of state, in turn, will certainly prevent the spread of negative religious ideology»,-  the expert said.

Bakirov Baurzhan Zhalelovich, head of the Department of prevention of religious extremism and rehabilitation work of the Committee on religious Affairs, who made a report at the round table, noted the special effectiveness of the initiatives of the Head of state for young people. Director of the Eurasian Research Institute Of the international Kazakh-Turkish University named after H. A. Yasavi, Professor, doctor of theology Kenzhetay Dosay Tursynbayevich also stressed the special importance of public policy, since it is addressed not only to the social strata of society, but also to the human consciousness as a whole.

Head of the Department of religious studies of the faculty of social Sciences of the L. N. Gumilyov ENU, Ph. D., leading researcher of NIAC Tyshkhan Kenshilik drew attention to the importance of social positions of members of society, and stated that the implementation of social initiatives promoted by the Leader of the nation will lead to a reduction in the number of negative phenomena in the religious sphere.

The Chairman of the OO «Сounter-terrorism Committee» Amanzhol Urazbayev Sadullaevich, Chairman of the Foundation of culture and development «Ulagat» Zhumakanova Kamaran Gabruseva, chief editor of public-political newspaper «Tortinshi Bilik»  Baltabayev Calimyrna Temirbekovich, and other qualified specialists in the sphere of religion, leaders of public organizations made presentations during the event also conducted a comprehensive analysis of the social solutions proposed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and noted, that these solutions can serve as the main means of protecting young people from alien ideology and strengthening social stability on the way to internal unity. Participants stressed the importance of a broad public discussion of the President's initiatives.
