In all regions of Kazakhstan, the competition to select the best social projects was completed. Out of 318 submitted applications following the results of regional competitions, 49 projects have been identified as winners, which will be presented in Astana at the republican exhibition "Best social projects in Kazakhstan".

In total, from March 1 to June 30 this year. in the framework of the contest over three hundred authors have addressed, including:

1. In the area of "Ensuring equal opportunities", 116 applications;

2. In the field of "Assistance in overcoming difficult life situations" 60 applications were received;

3. In the direction "Development of Volunteer Movement in the Social Sphere" 53 applications were received;

4. In the direction "Assistance in the employment of citizens, including persons with disabilities" 47 applications were received;

5. In the field of "Information promotion of solving social problems" 42 applications were received.

The best work of the Republican stage will be determined by the competitive commission, whose members are currently studying the projects submitted from the regions. And the winners of the audience sympathy will be chosen as a result of the online voting conducted on the websites of the party "Nur Otan" and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan from August 22 to September 22 this year.

It should be noted that in the current year the number of applications is twice as large as in the previous one. If 155 applications were submitted for participation in 2017, this year there are 318 of them. This indicates the increased attention of the public to social projects, as well as the expansion of the scope of participants due to active work on the ground.

At the same time, the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest will be held in September this year. within the framework of the organized exhibition "The best social projects of Kazakhstan".

The authors of the projects will be given the opportunity to present their works selected according to the results of the regional stage. We hope that among them there will be projects that will not only arouse lively interest but will further find their practical implementation with the support of state bodies, public associations and other interested persons.

It should be noted that this contest is aimed at attracting the attention of civil society to solving the problems of citizens who find themselves in a difficult life situation, creating equal opportunities for life and developing their creative potential for them.
