A UNIQUE MEMORANDUM WAS SIGNED BY "SAMRUK-KAZYNA" AND THE MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND SOCIAL PROTECTION
11.04.2025 07:37:32 341"Samruk-Kazyna" SWF JSC and the Ministry of labor and social protection of population of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed a unique memorandum on the implementation of social initiatives. The Memorandum was signed by Chairman of the Board of the Fund Akhmetzhan Yessimov and Minister of labor and social protection of population Berdibek Saparbayev.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, cooperation will be carried out to create favorable conditions for children from low-income and large families, from families in difficult life situations, elderly citizens, disabled people, veterans, minors and young people.
In particular, the parties will carry out treatment abroad for at least 100 children with incurable diseases in Kazakhstan, provide non-drug correction of autism for at least 100 children, medical rehabilitation for at least 1,500 children with a diagnosis of "infant cerebral palsy", medical care for at least 60,000 residents of remote settlements.
At the same time, the development of yard clubs for health promotion and development of creative abilities of at least 1,500 children will be continued, sightseeing tours will be organized in Kazakhstan for 600 children from remote villages and stations, social and household assistance and free travel on all railway communications of Kazakhstan and the Commonwealth of Independent States for at least 1,400 veterans of the Great patriotic war and home front workers, at least 40 universal sports and children's playgrounds will be provided.
At the same time, it is planned to provide at least 30 travel grants for the participation of children and adolescents under the age of 18 in intellectual, creative and sports competitions. It is planned to attract, select and develop at least 30 talented graduates who are able to solve various industry problems.
In addition, work will continue to attract and select candidates for internships in projects of digitalization of the manufacturing industry, aimed at developing the practical experience of at least 60 graduates with subsequent employment.
The Memorandum also provides for the development of social entrepreneurship by providing financial and non-financial support to initiatives of at least 50 non-profit organizations and support to organizations of disabled producers of the country through the purchase of goods under the approved Rules.
"Signing takes place within the framework of the Program by Elbasy "Society of well-being: 10 goals of the decade", aimed at supporting and developing a proactive social policy. The Memorandum will allow us to combine our efforts for the further effective development of the social sphere, improving the level and quality of life of certain categories of citizens, the implementation of social initiatives", - said the Chairman of the Board of "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC Akhmetzhan Yessimov.
In turn, Berdibek Saparbayev noted that joint activities in this direction will open new opportunities for effective solution of social problems.
"The problems of socially vulnerable segments of the population, in particular, the provision of housing for large and low-income families, orphans, today remain one of the most acute problems of society, requiring joint action of the state and business. In this regard, as part of the instructions of the First President of RK, the Ministry is actively working on the development and support of social responsibility of business. Last year alone, more than 700 memoranda totaling about 90 billion KZT were signed. We believe that today's Memorandum will be a good example for other companies and enterprises of Kazakhstan," the head of the Ministry of labor concluded.
The sole operator of charitable activities of the group of companies serves as the Fund for the development of social projects of "Samruk-Kazyna Trust". Since the beginning of 2019, the Fund has been implementing 15 social projects from the entire group of companies of the Fund aimed at solving socially important issues for the population, totaling 4.8 billion KZT. Free courses of rehabilitation for 1170 children with a diagnosis of "infant cerebral palsy" were organized. More than 9,000 school-age children attend educational clubs and sports clubs free of charge and take part in sports competitions.
