On November 16, 2017, Vice-Minister of religious Affairs and civil society of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Aryn met with representatives of the GIZ Program "trade Facilitation in Central Asia “on The theme"development of the Halal industry".

The meeting started with a presentation of the GIZ program  trade Facilitation in Central Asia, describing the cooperation within the framework of the project "Feedback" with the Islamic development Bank and the Malaysian authorities for the development of the Halal industry.

During the meeting, B. Aryn informed the participants of the meeting about the role of the Ministry of religious Affairs and civil society in the development of the Halal industry, aimed at implementing step 56 of the national Plan of the Head of state - 100 steps to implement five institutional reforms.

In addition, MARGO believes that the Halal industry has a religious content and is directly affected by the religious aspect of Muslim life. In this regard, the issuance of certificates for Halal products should be carried out by the only Islamic Association registered in Kazakhstan, represented by the Spiritual administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan.

At the same time, MDRGO believes that the certification of Halal products should be limited only to food products (meat and dairy products) and should not be allowed to extend to various services (Halal hotel, Halal service STATION, Halal taxi, etc.).
