05.04.2025, Kabul - Mr. G.Akbasov, Charge d'affaires of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Afghanistan, met with Mr. Saifurahman Rahim, Director of the Department of Cultural Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.

During the meeting, it was noted that issues of consistent expansion of humanitarian ties, including in the field of education and science, occupy a special place on the agenda of Kazakh-Afghan relations.

In turn, Saifurahman Rahim noted Kazakhstan's great contribution to strengthening friendship between the two countries, as well as to the development of scientific and educational cooperation. Saifurahman Rahim expressed gratitude to the Kazakh side for assistance in training national personnel in sought-after specialties, the allocation of scholarships and grants for students from Afghanistan.

Issues of personnel training for priority sectors of the Afghan economy, including metallurgy, construction, road infrastructure, etc., were also discussed.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen the development of educational programs and to continue strengthening political cooperation.
