April 5, 2025, Bern – In one of the oldest concert halls of the Swiss capital, the Aktobe Regional Philharmonic held a concert dedicated to the main spring holiday – Nauryz.

The event was attended by representatives of Swiss government bodies, business and academic communities, the diplomatic corps, international organizations, media, as well as the Kazakh diaspora.

In his speech, Ambassador Kairat Sarzhanov congratulated the guests on the holiday of spring renewal and introduced the concept of "Nauryznama," which reveals the richness of Kazakh culture through a series of thematic days dedicated to national values. He also presented the core ideas of the international campaign "Born Bold," which showcases Kazakhstan’s dynamic development, pursuit of innovation and social progress, and strengthens the country’s image on the global stage.

The folklore ensemble "Dostyk Sazy" and the dance ensemble "Akku" presented a vibrant concert program, blending music, songs, and dance that conveyed the depth and uniqueness of Kazakh culture.

The festive atmosphere was further enriched by the program of the Kazakh-Swiss Association "Birlik," whose participants performed national songs, kui (traditional instrumentals), and dances, conducted an intellectual quiz, and organized a dastarkhan (traditional table) featuring dishes of Kazakh cuisine.
