Judge of the Constitutional Court Roman Podoprigora delivered a lecture to the students of the Academy of Public Administration under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

At the beginning of his presentation, he provided a historical overview of the development of constitutional justice in Kazakhstan, highlighting the features of the Kazakhstani model of constitutional oversight and its significance in ensuring the supremacy of the Constitution. Special attention was given to several rulings of the Constitutional Court that sparked interest among the audience.

The judge focused on the Constitutional Court’s normative rulings concerning the legal status of civil servants and law enforcement officers, as well as decisions related to the activities of internal affairs bodies.

The lecture was organized as part of the implementation of the National Action Plan dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, titled “The Basic Law is the basis of independence.”
