On April 8, 2025 Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Zhanibek Abdrashov held a meeting with Almat Suyubayev, Head of the Balkhash-Alakol Interregional Basin Inspection of Fisheries of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

The parties discussed current investment projects in aquaculture, attracting investments and new technologies in the fishing industry.

Special attention was paid to the organization of the Forum on the development of the fishing industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation in order to strengthen investment partnership and promote initiatives in the field of fisheries.
