KNOWLEDGE BRIDGE: KAZAKHSTAN AND UZBEKISTAN EXCHANGE EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OF CUSTOMS ADMINISTRATION
11.04.2025 17:34:02 1528On April 7, 2025, as part of the interaction between the Training-Methodical Center of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan (TMC SRC MF RK) and the Customs Institute of the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan (CI CC MEF RU), a seminar on "Customs administration in Kazakhstan" was held. The event was held in a hybrid format — with face-to-face and online participation.
The purpose of the event is a comprehensive study of key aspects of customs administration in Kazakhstan, including the procedure for placing goods under customs procedures, storage conditions in temporary warehouses, the functioning of free customs zones, as well as the practical application of Carnet ATA.
The seminar was attended by students and teachers of the Customs Institute of the Republic of Uzbekistan (full-time), as well as employees of the territorial state revenue authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan (in online format).
The report was delivered by Sergaziev Tanatar, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the presentation, key aspects of customs regulation were highlighted, including:
- the procedure for placing goods under certain customs procedures;
- storage conditions in temporary storage warehouses;
- activities of free customs zones;
- practical aspects of using Carnet ATA books.
The seminar was held in an interactive format, allowing participants to ask questions, share experiences and receive expert recommendations.
Such events contribute to strengthening academic and professional cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, promote the unification of approaches in the field of customs regulation and the development of educational programs in the field of customs.
