Since 2019, 168 multi-family residential buildings have been modernized in the city of Kostanay. As part of this program, the technical condition of buildings and their appearance have been significantly improved. According to the plan for 2025, 41 more apartment buildings are to be repaired.

Major repairs will be carried out in 9 of them. As part of the overhaul, the facades of the buildings will be completely renovated, the roof will be replaced, and the balconies will be glazed with modern materials. Some of this work has already begun.

Ongoing repairs are planned in the remaining 32 houses, including painting facades, glazing balconies and installing lighting systems in entrances and courtyards.

These measures are aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens and improving the overall architectural appearance of the city. All works are under the control of the Akimat of Kostanay city and the Housing and Communal Services Department.
