Birds remind us of the arrival of spring much more effectively than a calendar or the weather outside the window. At some point during the walk, we hear their affectionate chirping and realize that the world is finally waking up after hibernation. And it is in the spring that the whole world will celebrate International Bird Day.
This ecological holiday is dedicated to the problems of birds: their illegal extraction, the gradual extinction and extermination of individual species. Birds are important participants in all ecosystems we are familiar with, and their disappearance can lead to a real natural disaster. Therefore, all festive events dedicated to the Day of Birds are designed to remind of the importance of birds in human life.
By the International Bird Day, forestry workers , along with school students and the librarian of the village library , installed birdhouses and feeders.
