The regional conference "Tastagi Tarikhi tanbalar" was held in the building of the central library named after S. Seifullin in Taldykorgan, on the eve of the International Day for the Protection of Monuments and Historical Sites, as well as in honor of the 85th anniversary of the archaeologist, scientist K. Baypakov.

During the conference, the results of the modernization of archaeological sites in the vicinity of Taldykorgan (Kyzyltas, Ordakul, Enbek) and the Aksu district were presented, and reports on the results of research work were read out at the conference.

Also during the event, a presentation of the book "Aksu audany tarikh zhane madeniyet eskertkishterin zhintygy" was held on the research conducted in Aksu district by the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The conference was attended by archaeologists, scientists of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, historians and local historians, staff of the Museum of Local Lore, students and the media.
