The draft joint resolution of the Akmola Region Akimat and the decision of the Akmola Region Maslikhat "On changing the administrative-territorial structure of Akkol District and the city of Stepnogorsk in the Akmola Region" was developed by the Department of Agriculture and Land Relations of the Akmola Region in accordance with the Land Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Administrative-Territorial Structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Local Government and Self-Government in the Republic of Kazakhstan," as well as joint proposals from the akimat and maslikhat of Akkol District and the city of Stepnogorsk.

The purpose of adopting the draft decision is to transfer agricultural lands of the Zhalgyzkary Rural District of Akkol District, with a total area of 74,060.7 hectares, to the city of Stepnogorsk.

The draft decision is published on the "Open NPA" portal and the website of the Department of Agriculture and Land Relations of the Akmola Region.
