A delegation from the People's Republic of China headed by the head of Xi'an Customs Mr. Fan Kun arrived in Zhetisu region.

During the visit, the guests from China visited the key customs posts of the region - “Altynkol Zhol” and “Nurzholy”. These posts play an important role in ensuring trade and economic relations between the two countries.

A working meeting was held with the management of the department and customs posts, headed by Deputy Head of the Department of State Revenue for the region Zhetisu Baimuldinov N.A.

 During the meeting the delegation got acquainted with the main directions of activity of the posts, organization of customs control, applied digital technologies and implemented measures to increase throughput capacity.

Guests from China gave a high assessment of the work of Kazakhstan's customs authorities, noting the high level of organization, technical equipment, as well as the effectiveness of the functioning of checkpoints. Particular attention from the Chinese delegation was paid to modern technical solutions implemented in the infrastructure of customs checkpoints, which allowed to significantly increase the efficiency and transparency of customs clearance procedures.

This visit was an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation between the customs authorities of Kazakhstan and China, aimed at developing mutual trade turnover and improving cooperation at border checkpoints.
