A colloquium on the topic was held in Almaty: "Youth and the law: rights, responsibility and anti-corruption challenges"

On the eve of the Day of Science Workers on April 10, 2025, Almaty hosted a thematic colloquium on "Youth and the law: rights, responsibility and anti-corruption challenges." The event was organized as part of the implementation of the Concept of promoting the ideology of "Law and Order" in society and the project "Anti-Corruption Volunteerism". The event was initiated by the Anti-Corruption Service of Almaty and the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute of KazNPU named after Abai with the active support of the scientific community, teachers and students. The purpose of the colloquium was to develop an anti-corruption culture among young people, involve the scientific community in developing new ideas and ways to address anti-corruption issues and minimize them, as well as strengthen cooperation between government agencies and educational institutions. The event was attended by: Igor Ivanovich Rogov Chairman of the Human Rights Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (online inclusion); Arman Tastemirovich Rakhimov - Head of the AntiCorruption Agency Department in Almaty; Ainur Alimkhanovna Sabitova Co-director of the Sorbonne Institute-Kazakhstan KazNPU named after Abai, member of the National Kuryltai, member of the Public Council of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also, scientific supervisors and students of universities in Almaty During the panel sessions, scientific projects and research by student volunteers aimed at combating corruption, popularizing the principles of integrity, legal literacy and developing anti-corruption immunity among young people were presented. Following the results of the event, teachers and students actively involved in the preparation of scientific and practical materials on anti-corruption, the formation of an anti-corruption culture and raising legal awareness were awarded certificates. These materials, developed during the colloquium, will serve as the basis for further research and practical initiatives in the field of ethical standards formation in the state and public spheres. The colloquium has become an important platform for discussing current challenges and finding joint solutions within the framework of the Anti-Corruption Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026. Its results will contribute to strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and government agencies in the field of combating corruption, as well as in training highly qualified specialists who are able to work effectively for the benefit of society.
