Since January 13, 2025, Kazakhstan has implemented the international standard for the ISO 20022 payment message format, implemented by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The transition covers the country's payment systems, information systems of second-tier banks and other participants in the payment market. In this regard, changes have been made to the Rules for making non-cash payments and money transfers in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (approved by Resolution No. 208 of the Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 08/31/2016), and a new form of payment order for the payment of budget payments has been approved. The key change is the new "Actual payer" column. For the correct transfer of taxes and payments to the budget, we pay attention to the order in which it is filled out.: Legal entities that make payments for branches and structural divisions must indicate the name and BIN of the relevant division. Bailiffs transferring funds for debtors' obligations must indicate the debtor's full name and IIN. Important! Incorrect indication of the data in the "Actual payer" column may lead to incorrect transfer of funds and the formation of arrears. Recommendations: Strictly observe the requirements of the National Bank when filling out payment orders. If you have any questions, please contact the second–tier service banks.
