Tackling juvenile crime remains one of the most pressing issues facing communities today. For this reason, the republican operational and preventive event “Teenager” is underway in the region from April, 10 to May 6, 2025.

The key goal of this initiative is to prevent and nip juvenile delinquency, including tackling offenses among learners of educational organizations, identifying administrative and criminal violations related to the protection of minors’ rights, boosting legal awareness among adolescents, preventing hooliganism in public places and on the streets, as well as stopping crimes targeted at children.

During the operational and preventive event, nighttime raids will be organized to identify minors found in entertainment venues, internet cafés or outdoors without legal representatives. Moreover, checks will be conducted at the place of residence of minors and families known to be at risk. During these checks, housing and living conditions will be examined, discussions will be held with legal representatives and appropriate legal measures will be taken if violations are found.
