Kazakhstan and Pakistan are Developing Cooperation Between Textile Hubs
12.04.2025 05:18:28 1713Islamabad, April 11, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan H.E Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin received Mr. Rehan Naseem Bharara, President of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the textile capital of Pakistan.
During the meeting with the President of the FCCI, the Ambassador spoke about business opportunities for conducting business in Kazakhstan, including the significant potential in the field of light industry.
In addition, Ambassador H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin informed about the planned events aimed at increasing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, in particular at the regional level.
For his part, Mr. Rehan Naseem Bharara confirmed the interest of the Pakistan’s textile capital business community in developing trade and investment cooperation with Kazakhstan, as well as the intention to participate in bilateral events.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of a business delegation to Kazakhstan, as well as to hold online and in-person meetings between the chambers of commerce and industry of Shymkent and Faisalabad.
