The Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs, Anar Zhailganova, opening the forum, emphasized that “The First President, Elbasy, declared this year the Year of Youth.

Today, the country pays great attention to supporting young people and creating conditions for the realization of their potential. This trend is also being implemented in the public service, where more than 22 thousand young people work.

Now, on the instructions of the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev, the issue of forming a presidential personnel reserve from among young managers for non-competitive promotion to all levels of the civil service is being worked out. This is an important step to attract talented progressive and creative young people with deep knowledge and practical work experience. Welcoming the participants of the forum, Anar Zhailganova, also stressed that great hopes are placed on our young people citing Magzhan Zhumabayev “I believe in young people who are brave like a lion, energetic like a tiger, strong like an eagle”.

On the eve of the Day of Public Servant in the most picturesque place of Akmola region,  in the resort area Burabay,   a Republican forum of young public servants is being held, initiated by the Agency for Civil Service in conjunction with the NGO "A Sectoral Professional Union of Workers of Government, Banking and Public Services."

A solemn ceremony of awarding the participants of the republican competition “The best civil servant of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2019” took place within the forum. This year, over 450 civil servants from all over Kazakhstan took part in the competition. While awarding the winners, Anar Zhailganova noted that “Holding such a competition stimulates young people to creatively solve the tasks.

Contestants presented projects to improve the system of targeted social assistance, state subsidies to the agro-industrial complex, environmental improvement, and many other ideas. The submitted projects will find their subsequent implementation. "The forum is attended by civil servants of ministries and local executive bodies, representatives of the Trade Union Federation and other invited guests. The forum's program is rich and informative: trainings and lectures will be held for the forum participants with the participation of leading business trainers from the CIS countries, change managers, PhD doctors in the field of protection of civil and labor rights of citizens, change management mechanisms and continuous improvement. Also in order to form a healthy nation, sports teambuilding is planned. Government officials will have an excursion to sacred places, a visit to the open-air ethno-complex “Botai-Burabai”, acquaintance with various cultural monuments, historical and natural sights, museums, modern objects.
