One of the strategic objectives of JSC "UAPF" is to conduct active information and explanatory work among the population aimed at increasing financial literacy, awareness of UAPF services, the pension system, changes in pension legislation, the results of investment activities for managing pension assets, and the formation of personal pension savings.
Representatives of the mass media play an important role in this task. In this regard, JSC "ENPF" conducts a series of lectures in the Format of the school of financial journalism for media representatives, students of the faculty of journalism and bloggers on the topic "Everything you need to know about the accumulative pension system of the Republic of Kazakhstan". The purpose of the School is to increase the level of financial awareness of journalists in the funded pension system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as to provide opportunities for communication, professional cooperation of journalists, bloggers, students of the faculty of journalism and representatives of the EPPF.
The course program includes training modules on the following topics: models of pension systems, features of the Kazakhstan accumulative pension system, changes in pension legislation, planning and calculation of accumulative pensions, existing electronic services, investment activities for managing pension assets, information work of JSC "UAPF". Journalists are given practical advice on working with the Foundation's website, as well as other sources of information to quickly create objective materials.
The event is being held for the fourth year. Previously, it was held mainly in Almaty. This year, the School has already been held in four cities of Kazakhstan: Nur-Sultan, Shymkent, Aktobe and Karaganda. And in each place there was a great interest from the students. At the end of the course, more than 130 people received special certificates.
