Now in Kazakhstan, you can use SMS not only to issue a child's birth certificate, birth allowances and a queue for kindergarten, but also to register a child at the place of residence. The newborn registration service has been running since the beginning of this year and is available to parents registered in the mobile citizens database.
We remind that proactive provision of birth services was introduced at the end of 2017. Kazakhstan became the first country in the CIS that introduced a proactive format for providing public services, when the state takes all the trouble to obtain public services for a citizen. At the same time, young mothers no longer need to visit PSC For paperwork, all the necessary information is pulled from the information systems of state agencies, and the missing information is requested from the parents of newborns via SMS messages.
SMS with the offer to register a child at the place of residence comes after the birth certificate has already been issued, that is, within 2 weeks after the birth of the child.
If one of the parents is the owner of the house, then they only need to enter the registration code of the address (RKA-code). If the parents do not have housing or want to register the child at another address, you must enter the RKA code and the IIN of the owner of the housing. Then go to the owner's personal account of the egov portal.kz or also via SMS you will receive a request for consent to register at your place of residence. When the owner gives their confirmation, the parents receive a notification that the child is registered at the specified address.
For 1.5 years, more than 70 thousand newborns received birth certificates in a proactive way. More than 13,000 applications for birth-related benefits were made via SMS, and more than 13,000 children were placed in the kindergarten queue proactively.
