On September 27, 2019, at about 09.20 a.m., the border guard unit of the ICBC Khorgos prevented an attempt to smuggle Chinese-made drugs with a total weight of 179 kg.

At 12.31, a border guard of the ICBC Horgos detained a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan while trying to transport undeclared currency in the amount of 18,042 US dollars and 16,200 tenge across the border.

The detained contraband cargo and currency are transferred to the appropriate state bodies in the established manner.
