Today, at about 6 a.m., a citizen of Kazakhstan born in 1990 was detained during border control at the Zhaisan checkpoint. The reason for the detention was an attempt to illegally export black caviar and sturgeon fish with a total weight of 400 kg from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation (preliminary estimated cost of 156,000,000 tenge).

The offender tried to transport valuable cargo under the guise of fruit in banana boxes, covered under bags of rice, raisins and peanuts. However, vigilant border guards do not hold!

The detainee, together with the cargo, was transferred to the Department of Economic Investigations in the Aktobe region for carrying out relevant measures.

Over the past 24 hours, Khorgos border guards stopped 2 attempts to illegally export from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Khorgos ICBC a total amount of 9,154,000 tenge. Two citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan were detained: a man born in 1973 and a woman born in 1974. Transferred to the employees of the customs post "Altynkol".

Beineu border guards prevented the smuggling of 4 "budgerigars" across the border on train number 330 with the message "Moscow - Dushanbe." The owner of the cargo is a 22-year-old citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Transferred to the veterinary control specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Beineu district.
