In Karaganda, on the day of languages ​​of the people of Kazakhstan, the winners of the "Til Zhanashyry" competition were awarded prizes by the regional akim in a solemn atmosphere. The event took place at the House of Friendship. This award is awarded annually in order to support individuals who have contributed to the state language policy and the development of languages. This year, representatives of different industries, professions and nationalities received it.

On behalf of the head of the region Yerlan Koshanov, another one - "The best teacher" has joined the traditional nominations. This prize is awarded to teachers who have distinguished themselves by their professionalism and novelty in the field of teaching the state language to adults.

"- Language is not only a means of communication, it is the spirit of the people and the state. The national code is based on the native language. It is gratifying that every year the number of Kazakh language learners is increasing. If 10 years ago 40% of graduates who pass the UNT completed assignments in the state language, now this figure has grown to 70%. In kindergartens, the number of children in Kazakh groups has increased several times," - said Yerlan Koshanov, speaking at the award ceremony.

He noted that it is never too late to learn languages. The most important thing is to have a desire. Knowledge of any language will eliminate borders, open new doors, and give unlimited opportunities, - said the head of the region. He urged not to be afraid of difficulties and to learn the language using various effective methods. Akim of the region noted that there were a lot of young people at the solemn event and thanked the organizers.

This year, 43 applicants took part in 8 nominations. The winners were selected by a jury. Of these, in 7 nominations, the amount of the premium is 250 thousand tenge. The main prize for a significant contribution to the development of language policy is awarded in the nomination “Til maitalmany” - 1 million tenge. This year it was transferred to the professor of the Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov, Doctor of Philology, Academician of the International Academy of Informatization Zhandos Smagulov.

A guest from the city of Nur-Sultan, state and public figure Orazgul Asangazy, noted that among all regions of the republic, Karaganda people widely celebrate the Day of Languages. In his opinion, this means respect for the native language.

In the nomination "Til zharshysy" - Anna Strokova, correspondent of the information portal "E-Karaganda";

In the nomination "Til bilgiri" - Romanov Denis, a student of the 11th grade of lyceum №3 "Bilim-Innovation" in Zhezkazgan;

In the "Zhas polyglot" nomination - Madiyar Abdilradov, a chemistry and biology teacher at the Murager school;

In the nomination "Memlekettіk tіl bizneste" - Almaz Myrzakhmet, ChU "Magzhan" printing house ";

In the nomination "Uzdik telekhabar" - Ayan Shaken, presenter of the 5th channel;

In the nomination "The best teacher" - Bereke Zharylgapova, methodologist of the State Enterprise "Center for the Development of Languages ​​in the City of Saran".

The regional akim's prize "Til Zhanashyry" has been awarded since 2012. Since 2018, the Day of Languages ​​of the People of Kazakhstan has been celebrated on September 5 as part of the birthday of the scientist-educator, scientist-linguist Akhmet Baitursynov.
