On April 19, 2019, a regular meeting of the regional commission for minors and the protection of their rights was held.

  The deputy akim of the region R. K. Members of the commission, deputies of mayors of districts and cities, representatives of law enforcement agencies and public organizations attended the meeting, chaired by Saken Sakenyev.

  The meeting addressed issues related to the work of commissions for minors and protecting their rights in Aktau and Zhanaozen, work to prevent crime and delinquency among children and adolescents, work to prevent suicides, and fulfill social orders of non-governmental organizations in the field of protecting children's rights.

  As a result, a number of instructions were given, including on strengthening work to protect the rights of children and adolescents, on approving regional administrations in educational institutions of Zhanaozen, and on working to implement a program to prevent suicide among students.
