A city with great potential
The chief expert Of the Department of regional development of the Ministry of national economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Bozshagulov, the chief expert Of the Committee for construction and housing of the Ministry of industry and infrastructure development of the Republic of Kazakhstan R.Nabiev, and acting head Of the Committee of labor, social protection and migration for the Almaty region of the Ministry of labor and social protection of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Tolenkyzy.
Mayor of the city Bakhtiar Unerbayev acquainted the distinguished guests with the work of enterprises and ongoing projects related to clean drinking water and sterilization of waste from the lead-zinc plant. The working group visited the Dostyk microdistrict at the construction site of a 40-apartment building. Work is currently underway there and every effort is being made to ensure the quality and timely completion of construction. The guests drew attention to the strict compliance with construction requirements, and to the fact that housing was convenient for people
with disabilities.
At the Tekeli mining and processing complex, the members of the working group got acquainted with the process of producing pig iron. Currently, the company employs about a thousand people. The production is based on an innovative technology for extracting and processing iron ore by diversifying the economy for the development of small businesses within the Framework of the regional map of industrialization and integrated development of the city of Tekeli for 2015-2017. Last year, the plant produced 17.1 thousand tons of pig iron. The second blast furnace is ready to start.
In the city hospital, the guests got acquainted with the material and technical base of health care.
The city hospital will be granted the right to purchase modern medical equipment in order to improve the health of the population and improve the skills of doctors. This year, a new spacious building was purchased for an outpatient clinic in the Dostyk microdistrict.
At parting, the members of the working group gave a good assessment of the development of our city, promising assistance in improving its further welfare.
