North Kazakhstani residents celebrate the Day of the Workers of Agriculture, Food and Processing Industries. This year, local farmers have been able to grow and harvest over 5.1 million tons of grain. Today, NKR has the highest level of diversification of agricultural production.

«Despite the difficult weather conditions, we managed to get a good harvest. 18 centners of grain have been collected from each hectare. This is the result of the daily painstaking work of machine operators, tractor drivers, combine harvesters, agronomists, and engineers. Every day, they go to work with one goal, which is ensuring the food security of our country», — Kumar Aksakalov said.

The number of processing enterprises increases annually. So, for this year only, 3 digital dairy farms have been built. In the near future, it is planned to create another 10. NKR is the leader in attracting investment in the agricultural sector. That is proved by the launch of a modern robotic feed mill of Kazmeal LLP. Over 4 billion tenge was invested in the project, half of which was funds of foreign partners.

Today, on their professional holiday, the best representatives of the agricultural sector received awards from the akim of the region, in total over 60 people.
