As part of the implementation of the ideology of "Law and Order" in the Aktobe region, work continues to curb driving under the influence of alcohol.

This year, 13 persons were brought to criminal responsibility in Aktobe region for driving while intoxicated. The Aktobe city Court No.

2 considered a criminal case against the defendant, who was tried under Article 346, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (driving a vehicle by a person deprived of the right to drive and intoxicated, which negligently caused damage to property).

Earlier, the defendant was brought to administrative responsibility under art. 608 Part 1 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the appointment of arrest for a period of 15 days and deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for 7 years (until 03/14/2030).

However, the defendant did not embark on the path of correction, did not draw the proper conclusions for himself and again committed a criminal offense.

The court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecution on the issue of the type of punishment, sentenced the defendant to 4 years in prison with life imprisonment for the right to drive vehicles.

We remind you that for this type of crime, criminal liability is provided in the form of imprisonment for a term of four to six years with life imprisonment of the right to drive vehicles.

We urge you to strictly follow the rules of the road and not drive vehicles under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
