About the visa-free regime for citizens of Kazakhstan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan is working with foreign partners to simplify the visa regime in order to create favorable conditions for the travel of our compatriots.

At the same time, on March 19, 2025, the Agreement on mutual exemption from visa requirements between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco will enter into force. This agreement provides for the cancellation of visa requirements for national passport holders of the two countries. Thus, they can stay for up to 30 days in the territory of another party without a visa in every 6 months (calculated from the date of entry into the country).

This agreement opens up new opportunities for the development of tourist, business and cultural ties.

In addition, the authorities of Montenegro decided to extend the visa-free regime for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan until November 1, 2025.

This measure is a tourist attraction for Montenegro. and offers new opportunities for Kazakhstani people planning business trips and contributes to strengthening bilateral cooperation.

In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman announced the extension of the visa-free regime for citizens of Kazakhstan with national passports. Now citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan can stay in Oman for up to 30 days, while earlier this period was 14 days.

However, it should be noted that the visa-free regime does not apply to employment, education and permanent residence.
