A meeting was held in the Fisheries Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan chaired by the head of the department Serik Sermagambetov. The event was attended by heads of interregional basin fishery inspectorates, structural departments and subordinate organizations.

During the meeting, issues of implementation of state support measures for the industry, strengthening of work on attracting investments, implementation of digital monitoring tools "e-Fish", as well as implementation of programs for sending fish to water bodies, increasing the growth of fish resources and modernizing the production base of fish nurseries were considered. Special attention was paid to interaction with local executive bodies, fight against poaching and anti-corruption.

According to the results of the Council, the Chairman of the Committee gave a number of tasks aimed at the development of the fish industry to the heads of interregional basin fisheries inspectorates and subordinate organizations.
