The Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ghani Beysembayev met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Kazakhstan Cho Tae-ik.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of secondary, technical and vocational education. Special attention was paid to exchange of experience in the field of internationalization of colleges, organization of internships for students and teachers within the framework of academic mobility, as well as to increase the professional competence of teachers. The main goal is to increase their competitiveness at the global level and bring educational programs into line with international standards," said Ghani Beysembayev.

Possibility of further cooperation in the field of secondary education and improvement of Korean language teachers' qualifications was also considered.
