In 2023, the "Integrated education" program was developed by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the round table held at the Central Communications Service, the Vice Minister of Education Edyl Ospan spoke about the implementation of the program.

According to the instructions of the head of state, in 2024 the program "Fair Kazakhstan - Honest Citizen - Forward-thinking Nation" was updated in accordance with national values ​​and introduced to all educational organizations. At the IV National Congress held on March 14 of this year, the President supported the proposals of members of the congress to change the name of the program to "Honest Citizen". This name defines the main goal of the program to educate honest, fair and highly responsible citizens who will be the backbone of the society.

During the two years of the implementation of the program, it was possible to create a single ecosystem of education in educational organizations that includes six main directions and 77 steps, as well as involving a wide range of participants, including class leaders, parents, and psychological services.

"Instilling values ​​into children according to their age characteristics is carried out by including cognitive, practical and emotional components. The cognitive component helps to understand the meaning and content of each value, the practical component helps to implement them in practice through specific actions, and the emotional component turns these values ​​into a life habit, a daily skill," noted the Vice-Minister of Education Edyl Ospan.

Parental pedagogical support centers are being opened in schools and psychological support centers in the regions are providing services within the framework of the program. As a priority, the role of class leaders, who are the main mentors and educators of the younger generation, is being strengthened.

Also, national values ​​are integrated into the educational process. It is reflected in the subject content, classroom hours, extracurricular activities, and allows to educate a responsible, hardworking and honest citizen at all levels of education.
