In Kazakhstan, the annual nature protection campaign "Clean water bodies" aimed at clearing fishing water bodies from abandoned fishing grounds, cleaning coastal areas and forming a careful view of water resources by citizens has started.

According to the order of the chairman of the Fisheries Committee, the campaign will take place in two stages, taking into account the climatic features of the regions:

• from March to May - Zhetysu, Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Mangistau, In Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Almaty, and Zhambyl regions.
• From April 15 to May 31 - in Ulytau, Akmola, East Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Aktobe, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, and Abay regions.

Anyone can participate in the campaign by applying to the appropriate fisheries inspectorate at their place of residence.
