Kairken Aliyev, the head of the police department of Ulytau region, announced this at a meeting with the public in Zhanaarka district. In addition to residents of the district, citizens from other districts and cities of the region participated in the accounting meeting and asked their questions. During the meeting, a detailed report was given on the main directions of the police service, the results achieved in 2024 and the measures to be implemented in the future. In his speech, the head of the department Kairken Aliyev noted: "The main goal of our meeting today is to comprehensively discuss the operational work of the police, to establish an open dialogue with citizens, to differentiate the achievements and shortcomings of the past year, and to define the tasks for the future. This is our common interest." During the accounting meeting, the criminal situation in the region, road safety, cattle theft, etc., were discussed in detail. In addition, the work of police officers in the fight against crime, prevention of offenses and ensuring the safety of citizens was taken into account. The head of the department informed that a new department was created due to the increase in Internet fraud crimes. This department is made up of highly qualified specialists and uses effective methods of combating cybercrimes. Employees of the cyberpol department blocked 1016 sites with fraudulent content and opened 39 cases of Internet fraud. Damages in the amount of 119 million tenge were collected in these cases. In addition, on February 10 of this year, a foreign citizen was detained in the city of Zhezkazgan. He was found to have made 21,175 calls in 4 days using a Sim-box with 128 SIM cards installed. Investigations are currently underway. The participants of the meeting highly appreciated the work of the police and made proposals aimed at solving a number of specific problems. Taking into account the opinions of the people, it was noted the need to systematically organize preventive measures to solve security problems in the future. Kairken Aliyev said that he will continue the accounting meetings in other districts and cities of the region, and expressed confidence that measures aimed at strengthening the safety of the people and increasing the efficiency of work on maintaining order will be taken.
