Issues of employment of convicts in SKO discussed
Government structures and private business representatives of the region met in the regional health conference hall of the Department of Penal-Executive System of SKO. Current and problematic issues were discussed in the dialogue of mutual interest. One of the issues of the meeting mentioned in the agenda of the meeting was the topic of increasing the employment of prisoners in correctional facilities of the region.
- The issue of employment of convicts is one of the main areas of activity of the penal system. Today, about 62% of the special contingent from the total number of able-bodied convicts are employed. This indicator is small, in order to increase jobs, we need to open new types of production. In the industrial territories of the regional institutions there are non-working production sites, therefore, by participating in this event, we invite private business representatives to a mutually beneficial dialogue, - said the deputy head of the regional department, lieutenant colonel Dastan Sanbaev.
In addition, the representatives of the branch of the RMC "Enbek-Uskemen" created conditions for the opening of new types of production, the presence of specialists among the special contingent and other issues of interest to entrepreneurs.
