In accordance with the approved work plan, the representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan visited Atyrau City Police Department No. 1 of the Police Department of Atyrau Region.
Amangeldy Abdolov visited the police building, the condition of the temporary detention cells, the promenade, and familiarized himself with the conditions of the temporarily detained citizens.
There were no arrests during the visit. According to police lieutenant colonel Zhandos Sadirov, head of GOP No. 1 of Atyrau city, violators of public order are brought in in the evening and at night, and in most cases these are offenses of a domestic nature (shouting in the house, fights, drinking, etc.).
