The head of the region, Nurymbet Saktaganav, together with the specialists of the emergency headquarters, representatives of the SKO TJD, mobilization readiness department and other relevant departments, visited and checked the condition of rivers, water reservoirs and snow cover in the Katonkaragai district and the Altai district. So, for example, in the region of Altai city, there is a snow cover with a height of more than 100 cm, in mountainous areas, the height of snow reaches 250 mm, and the water reserve there reaches 500 mm. In the Katonkaragay region, the height of the snow cover is 30-50 cm, and the water reserve is about 100 mm. The general, hydrological and glacial conditions are described as stable, ice breakup has begun in the Buktarma River, and a full ice layer is preserved in the Ustkemen reservoir.
