Biologically active food additives (BAF) are components of natural or similar natural substances intended for personal consumption or inclusion in food products for the purpose of enriching them or preventing diseases.

Sale of biologically active additives should be carried out through pharmacies, drugstores, specialized stores and trade networks.

Sale of biologically active additives is not allowed: unregistered; expired; in the absence of appropriate conditions for implementation; without a registration certificate, as well as in cases where the information on the registration certificate does not correspond to the information specified during state registration; In the absence of information on the label in accordance with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union "Regarding the labeling of food products" (CO TR 022/2011), approved by the decision of the Customs Union Commission dated December 9, 2011 No. 881.

Advertising of the product (goods) is carried out in accordance with the following requirements: advertising (except periodical press publications, Internet resources, information agencies) in the Kazakh language, and at the discretion of the advertiser distributed in Russian and (or) other languages; text advertising is printed in an easy-to-read, clear and understandable font; audio advertising is placed with clear and understandable audio accompaniment; video advertising is placed with clear and clear audio and video accompaniment; be reliable and recognizable; not to mislead consumers by abusing their trust, including regarding the characteristics, composition, consumer properties, cost (price), expected results of use, research and test results; including the trade name of the product (goods) and the name of the manufacturer; designation of the product (goods), if it does not arise from the name of the product (goods); if specified by the manufacturer, should include information on the category of persons for which it is intended; instructions on the need to familiarize yourself with the main indications, contraindications and side effects (when they exist); includes information on state registration in RK and (or) EAEU member states; information about the active components included in the composition; method of use and doses; main side effects (if any); main contraindications (if any);  special instructions for children, pregnant women, and breastfeeding (if any); terms of sale; visual and understandable recommendations for use; the name and address of the manufacturer and the person authorized by the manufacturer to accept complaints; a warning that the object of advertising is not a medicine.
