In order to prevent the importation and spread of quarantine and highly dangerous infections in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, specialists of sanitary-quarantine control of Turkestan city of the Astana city sanitary-quarantine control department held a seminar on the topic "Yellow fever: clinical manifestations and preventive measures" among the employees of the Turkistan International Airport border post. During the seminar, experts discussed the clinical manifestations of yellow fever, its treatment methods, as well as vaccination and other experts provided detailed information on preventive measures. In addition, participants discussed ways to increase the effectiveness of sanitary inspections and control measures at the airport to prevent the spread of infection.
